11:00 am Gather- 12 pm Lunch- 1:00 pm Program
Menu Selections:
(Entrees are served with salad/choice of dressing, whipped or buttered potatoes, Italian bread, coffee, tea, or milk, and choice of dessert. Rice or Mostaccioli is served in lieu of potatoes for some lunch choices. Soups or fruit cups are served with Salad choices)
Entree Choice:
- Baked one-half chicken with cranberry sauce
- Ground Round with mushroom gravy and mixed vegetables
- Chef’s Salad
Dessert:
- Chocolate Sundae
Program
Thomas H. Fehring, P.E., a member of ASME, will speak about his book, “The Magnificent Machines of Milwaukee and the Engineers who created them” which was published in June 2018.
The book is about the story of innovation and enterprise creation in Milwaukee during the Century of Progress~~~the hundred years starting after the end of the Civil War. It’s about a remarkable era during which Milwaukee became known as “the Machine Shop of the World”.
Tom will have copies of his book on hand for anyone interested in purchasing it. Tom’s book includes information about Johnson Service and Warren Johnson, our company’s founder. Even pictures of Jim Keyes, Tom Ament, Brian Stark and Tom Norquist are in Tom’s book.
