WSJ Society Website – Status Update

Our website has been moved away from the JCI system that was being discontinued and onto a hosting site that we have subscribed to. It was a move with no change, so it should look the same to you as it has in the past. The one part that was problematic before the move, and still is, would be the Member Login. That login was the feature that allowed you to see our list of members without having it available to the general public. We may have trouble getting that function back, so that list has been included with some emailed newsletters recently.    Other parts of the site, like this newsletter, photos, history, events, etc. are working and open to all. Check the site for your best source of current information. We may still work on updating the site a bit, but that would probably be smaller, incremental changes.

However, we are having some problems getting email distributions (like the Newsletter) out to you. Our present email system is putting restrictive limits on how large a mailing list it will accept. Also, we are finding that some of our members email systems are putting our emails into your spam folder. Either way – You may not see them! Check your email Spam folder and our WSJSociety.com website periodically for the latest information if you think it is overdue. Especially if you plan to attend an upcoming luncheon (which are the 3^rd Thursday of Jan. April, July, and Oct.). If you are attending a luncheon, it might be wise to check with those you plan to visit with, to make sure they got the information about that luncheon.
