Junior Achievement Days

February 18, 2016

Junior Achievement Days looks like an excellent opportunity for WSJ Society members to share their experiences with the next generation.

This year notice came late for us to participate in the Orientation sessions that were held on February 9 and 17. However, this kind of activity just seems right for our membership. It’s about passing our experience on to the next generations. Junior Achievement has a solid program and the partnership with Johnson Controls would enable members who are interested to plug into an existing successful effort.

Here’s the information on the program for this year:

JA LogoJunior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.

Johnson Controls employees and retirees have the opportunity to volunteer in local classrooms for a JA Day on March 3 and March 17.

Registration and additional information can be found here: http://starcite.smarteventscloud.com/5042JCI Logo

Look interesting? We may have missed the chance this year, but please take a moment to check it out. Also, here’s the link to Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.

If this kind of activity looks interesting to you, please send a Message to the Editor via Join the Discussion.

Perhaps we could work together to get ahead of this next year, or plug into other Junior Achievement opportunities.
