United Way a great way to go!

All retiree pledges to United Way are matched by Foundation

Johnson Controls employees and retirees have an outstanding reputation for generosity when it comes to the annual United Way campaign each fall. Johnson Controls has been the workplace giving campaign leader for Milwaukee for the past seven years, and before that, the company long held a place in the top three.

The Johnson Controls Foundation gives a dollar-for-dollar match to United Way for each employee and retiree gift, with no limit attached to this match.

George Oliver, CEO, sent each retiree a letter and a pledge card in mid-October with encouragement to contribute.

Grady Crosby, vice president of Public Affairs and chief diversity officer, noted that Johnson Controls is well-respected in Milwaukee for its community engagement. “Johnson Controls is committed to the communities where our employees live and work,” Crosby said. “Our employees and retirees are so generous, both with their pledging and with the time they give to board work and volunteering.”

Look for that letter from the CEO and join the way!
