Grace Fuhr, Special Events Director of Historic Milwaukee, will share a history of the organization and their premier annual program, Doors Open.
As the organization gears up for their sixth annual Doors Open, set to take place on September 17 and 18, 2016, Grace will discuss the program and highlight a few sites that will be featured during this year’s event.
Historic Milwaukee, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of and commitment to Milwaukee’s history, architecture, and the preservation of our built environment.
Their largest event, Doors Open, features over 150 buildings and encourages community members and visitors to explore Milwaukee. Over 30,000 people attended last year’s event.

Doors Open Milwaukee will be celebrating their 6th anniversary this year … and each year has been a fantastic experience for those who participated.
If you have enjoyed Doors Open, or even if you’ve missed out in past years, the program committee has a special treat for all of us at the Summer Luncheon in July.
